Tiny Human Food Celebrates "Best In Class" Certification From The Clean Label Project At Expowest 2018

Small Batch, Organic, Cold-pressed Refrigerated Baby Food to Sample from Booth N2311 in “Hot & New Products Hall”

Fresh off receiving the Clean Label Project’s Best in Class certification, Tiny Human Food will be sampling its small batch, organic, cold-pressed refrigerated baby food at ExpoWest from March 8-10, 2018 from Booth N2311 in the North Hall.  Founded in 2015 by Chicago mom Ashley Rossi, Tiny Human Food offers an alternative to heat treated, shelf-stable baby foods and gives parents an opportunity to invest in the health of their children every time they pick up a spoon.

“When my son was born, I had the same goal every parent has: to give him the best, most nutritious baby food I could find,” says Rossi.  “Back then, I had the time and knowledge to make it myself, but many parents don’t have the time or are intimidated by the thought of making their own baby food.  Tiny Human Food gives parents a solution: scrumptious, nutritious, organic baby food they’ll feel good about giving to their tiny humans!”

Available in six varieties, Tiny Human Food is different than other baby foods because it uses a revolutionary high pressure process that allows the flavors, textures, aromas, and vitamins and nutrients to shine. Shelf-stable foods are typically processed at ultra-high temperatures designed to kill harmful bacteria, but those high temperatures also kill the vitamins and nutrients that naturally occur in fruits and vegetables and alter the taste of many ingredients.  Many manufacturers simply add vitamins and nutrients back in to the heat-treated food before packaging, and then the product sits on the shelf for months or years!

The high pressure process used by Tiny Human Food preserves the flavors, textures, and nutrients you’d expect to find in pure organic produce, so carrots actually taste like carrots and green beans taste like green beans!  All of the brand’s ingredients are USDA-certified organic and sourced from local farmers and growers.

In addition, Tiny Human Food purees are purposefully packed in small cups, instead of pouches like many other natural or organic brands.  Although convenient, pouches can stifle the development of motor skills and make transitioning to utensils difficult, as well as rob parents of the important bonding time that occurs at meal time.

Offered in packages containing two cups each, Tiny Human Food is currently available at Walmart, on Amazon.com, and at www.tinyhumanfood.com for $4.99 for a two-cup pack.  Each cup contains three ounces, and is available in six varieties, all of which will be sampled at ExpoWest:

Organic Apple
Organic Carrot Apple
Organic Sweet Potato
Organic Pumpkin Banana
Organic Carrot
Organic Green Bean

The brand was recently awarded the Clean Label Project’s “Best in Class” Certification, which recognizes Tiny Human Food’s commitment to offering products free of things like heavy metals including lead and mercury, acrylamide, and pesticides.  The Clean Label Project rigorously tests consumer products to empower consumers by teaching them that a lot of times, it’s what’s NOT on the label that can be most important to your health.
