TULSA, Oklahoma -

Students in Green Country showcased their skills with the Tulsa Youth Symphony Sunday.

A Play-A-Thon concert was held in the lower level of the Woodland Hills Mall Sunday afternoon.

The symphony is in its 54th season and provides advanced training and performance experience to young musicians in Northeast Oklahoma.

"We've been over here a dozen years now. We like to do this every year to spread the word and let people hear what the kids are like what kind of talent we have here so it’s always a fun event," said Music Director Ron Wheeler.

The Tulsa Youth Symphony will host its final concert of this season on Sunday, May 6th.
