Dozens of couples spent St. Patrick’s Day by getting hitched in downtown Tulsa.
As part of the day’s festivities, Judge James Caputo officiated 43 marriages outside McNellie's near 1st and Elgin Saturday.
All couples needed was a marriage license, two witnesses, and of course, they're soon-to-be spouse.
"This is one of the most fun parts of my job, it’s a way for me to give back to the community. I've always enjoyed doing marriages since I started being a judge 17 years ago. And I've always enjoyed doing it and now I've stepped it up to a whole new level," Caputo said.
He said he will officiate another group wedding ceremony for Cinco De Mayo.
