FORT GIBSON, Oklahoma - Cherokee County deputies say a teenage girl who went missing Saturday, March 17 has been found.

According to the Cherokee County Undersheriff Jason Chennault, Fort Gibson police found 13-year-old Shawna Lowrey at the Fort Gibson Sonic Sunday night.

They tell us the person she was with drove off when police got there.

Fort Gibson police chased the person in a red truck - not the truck originally described - but were not able to catch up.

Deputies had said Lowrey was last seen early Saturday morning leaving a home outside Tahlequah around 1:40 a.m. Authorities were concerned that she might be in danger.
