BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -

Broken Arrow Police say they arrested a man for taking upskirt photos after his victim confronted him and witnesses help track him down. James Aaron Bobbitt, 40, was arrested March 22 on a felony complaint of Peeping Tom with photographic equipment.

An arrest report states a woman was shopping in the dog food aisle of the Walmart at 2301 West Kenosha Street Thursday when another customer told her someone was taking photos up her skirt. The victim told police she went to confront the man, later identified as Bobbitt, and he ran into the bathroom.

Store employees followed Bobbitt as the woman called 911, but Bobbitt ran off after telling her he'd deleted the photo, according the arresting officer. Records say witnesses chased after him and got the license plate number off his SUV.

Police said they were able to get video footage from the store and confirmed everything witnesses told them about the incident. They went to Bobbitt's house and arrested him. Police say Bobbitt admitted his actions and said he was lonely because his wife was out of town.

He's in the Tulsa County Jail Friday morning.
