TULSA, Oklahoma -

The westbound lanes of Highway 11 near the Tulsa International Airport have been reopened following a wreck involving a wrong-way driver.

Just before 12:30 p.m., Tulsa Police received a call of a small white pickup going east in the westbound lanes of Highway 11.

As officers were trying to catch up to the driver, they were alerted of a head-on crash near the Pine Street exit.

They said the driver of the pickup, a 90-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. They said a 59-year-old man was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said Highway 11 westbound lanes were closed as they investigated the scene.
