Man Fatally Shot In Hartshorne

Police say a man is dead after a shooting late Tuesday in the town of Hartshorne in Pittsburg County.

Police Chief Jeremy Pierce says the shooting happened at a home in the 500 block of North 6th Street.  

The victim is identified as Kyle Brown. Authorities say he died at the scene.

Chief Pierce said no one is in custody right now, but there is no threat to the community. Hartshorne Police and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are working the case.
