911 Call Reveals Details In Muskogee County Jail Inmate Death
MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Oklahoma - The 911 call from the night an inmate died in the Muskogee County Jail has been released.
The recording says guards found 23-year-old Brandy Edwardsen unconscious and struggling to breathe in her cell Friday night.
"She looks like she's having trouble breathing, her lips are kind of blue, she has a pulse, she is breathing. I don't know what the problem is with her," said a jail employee.
Edwardsen later died at a hospital.
The cause of death is still under investigation.
