TULSA, Oklahoma - The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is finalizing plans for the approaching school shutdown.

The food bank intends to try to feed children who depend on school lunches.

They said it's tough trying to figure out the best strategy because it's unclear how long the walkout will last.

"Right now, at the food bank and all throughout the community, we are working and planning for Monday's walkout. You know, the big question is we don't know how long it's gonna go," said Eileen Bradshaw with the food bank.

The food bank plans to send its mobile kitchens to low-income areas to help feed children, and, some students at Union schools will receive backpacks with food for an entire week.
