OSAGE COUNTY, Oklahoma -

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says its investigation into a fatal crash near Fairfax Sunday afternoon continues.

Troopers said 82-year-old Gene Roberts of Fairfax was driving his 1995 GMC pickup on County Road 6300 just west of Highway 18 when he crashed around 2 p.m.

In their report, their investigation into the cause of the crash and the condition of the driver continues.

The OHP says Roberts was taken to a Fairfax hospital  where he was pronounced dead of a heart attack.

Troopers say Roberts was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
