Enraged parents of a girls basketball team say they’ve been ripped off by a man no one can get a hold of.

The Oklahoma “Lady Trotters Elite” 5th thru 7th grade team won a tournament last weekend in Ardmore.  But the team has to play in “borrowed” jerseys.

Their parents and their coach say they paid a man named Jesse Williams $1700 for new uniforms back on March 19th. Williams was supposed to have those uni’s ready in seven to ten days.

Parent Artina Johnson says it took Williams three weeks just to come up with a one photo of one uniform, and the word “Trotters” was misspelled.

Williams disappeared two weeks ago, and isn’t returning anyone’s calls.

“Something’s gotta give, and at this point, somebody’s got to be the bigger person,” said Johnson. “And noboby’s being the bigger person.”

Johnson and the team’s coach Landon Samilton say they plan to file formal police reports against Williams on Thursday.

News 9 reached out to Williams but he hasn’t returned our call.
