Broken Arrow Man Charged With Assault, Kidnapping Following Standoff

TULSA, Oklahoma -

Prosecutors charge a Broken Arrow man who police say tazed a woman then held her hostage earlier this month.

Travis Bayless, 37, is charged with kidnapping, assault with a dangerous weapon and resisting arrest after an incident April 18th in the 3500 block of West Freeport Street in Broken Arrow.

Broken Arrow Police surrounded the home before they say Bayless eventually surrendered to officers.

Jail records show he has a court appearance set for April 27th.
