Woman Arrested After Choking, Cutting Girlfriend, Tulsa Police Say
TULSA, Oklahoma - A woman is in jail after police say she got into a fight with her girlfriend.
Police said the victim got home and found Sarah Neufeld intoxicated and angry over losing her cell phone.
The victim told police she told Neufeld that she needed to leave and tried to push her out the door, but that Neufeld took her to the ground and choked her.
Police said Neufeld also cut the victim with a steak knife three times on her right cheek and once on the right side of her forehead.
The report says Neufeld also punched the victim in the face.
Police said the victim eventually was able to bite Neufeld and escaped. They said the woman was then able to get Neufeld out of the house and locked the door.
Jail records show Neufeld was arrested on complaints of domestic assault and battery by strangulation and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
