JENKS, Oklahoma - The Jenks School Board is set to name a new head football coach to replace Allan Trimble.

A news release from the district says Keith Riggs is being recommended to the board. The release says the board will vote on the recommendation at its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, May 7, 2018.

Trimble announced his retirement last month after 22 years as head coach of the Trojan football program. Trimble retired after being diagnosed with ALS in 2016. He won 13 state titles with Jenks.

Riggs was hired as an assistant coach by Jenks in 2003 and has been the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator for the last eight years.
