TULSA, Oklahoma - A woman who Tulsa Police say led officers on a chase is in jail after getting hit by a patrol car Saturday.

Police say 31-year-old Kayla Shelton was hit after ditching a stolen pickup truck.

Police say the chase started after officers spotted the Chevy Colorado Pickup leaving a motel near East Skelly Drive.

They tried to pull the car over but Shelton kept going.

Police say Shelton led officers on a chase along I-44 reaching speeds over 100 mph.

They say she tried to ditch the car and run on foot but was hit.

Shelton was treated and released from a Tulsa hospital.

Police say she faces several complaints including felony eluding and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
