CREEK COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatality crash that took place northeast of Bristow Monday morning. Two vehicles collided on Highway 66 at 337th West Avenue around 7:30 a.m.

Three people were killed in a head-on crash, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The victims have been identified as Donald E. and Mary A. Fisher of Broken Arrow. The Fishers were 90 and 78. Brandi G. Shoemake, 29, was the third victim.

She was a Stroud resident.

A collision report states OHP is investigating Shoemake's condition before the wreck. The cause of the collision is also under investigation.

Troopers blocked all lanes of the highway just to the east of Highway 48 in Creek County. First responders from several departments worked the deadly wreck.

People on social media who saw the crash said the vehicles involved were unrecognizable. OHP said Shoemake, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was driving a Dodge Ram.

The Fishers, who were both belted in, were driving a Chevrolet Impala.

The crash happened in front of David Green's house. He said he's seen a lot of wrecks at the curve.

"It doesn't look that bad, and it's really not that bad if you'll pay attention, but I hear a lot of people going over those little road bumps on the side of the road all the time, day and night," Green said.

Highway 66 was reopened a little after 10 a.m.
