Police: Driver Critically Injured In Tulsa Crash

Police say one person was taken to the hospital in critical condition following a Tulsa crash Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to 71st and Lewis at about 1:45 p.m. after they say a 30-year-old driver was thrown from Chevy Malibu which had crash near the intersection.

Police say their initial investigation revealed that the driver, Sahir Rafah was driving recklessly northbound on South Lewis , when he lost control, went over a curb and rolled the car about two times before coming to rest upright on the sidewalk in front of an IHOP restaurant.
Officers say Rafah's condition was upgraded to serious at the hospital.

Investigators are still investigating the crash.
