A roadway in Payne County has buckled due to extreme heat, authorities told News 9.
Troopers have shutdown the westbound lanes of Cimarron Turnpike near mile marker 22.5A. The roadway is about a mile and a half from N Perkins Road in Stillwater.
Traffic is getting by on the shoulder of the road, the turnpike authority said.
