Some residents of Tulsa’s Pearl District say they’re upset about an abandoned house near 11th and Utica.

They say the house is often used for illegal activity, like drugs and prostitution.

The district held a meeting on Tuesday to address some of the residents’ concerns.

Neighbors say their family members have been harassed and they simply don’t feel safe.

“My niece has been solicited when she tries to walk to QuikTrip,” said area resident Jason Eurich.  “I’ve known people that have had a lot of issues in that neighborhood and we’d kind of like to get it cleaned up.”

Residents say they want a larger police presence in the neighborhood and more community involvement.
