Firefighters say no one was injured when a west Sapulpa apartment caught on fire Wednesday evening.

Just after 10 p.m., the Sapulpa Fire Department was called to the apartments in the 15000 block of West Highway 66.  They arrived to find the outside of the middle apartment in a building housing three units on fire.

Fire Captain Darren Inbody says they quickly put out the fire located in an outside electrical panel.   He says the middle apartment suffered some damage and the two apartments on either side sustained minor smoke damage.

Red Cross is helping the residents who were living in the middle apartment with a place to stay.
