GRDA: Man In Grove Hospital Following Grand Lake Near Drowning

A man who nearly drowned at Grand Lake on Monday is awake and talking, but remains in a Grove hospital.

The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department says they received a call just before 7:45 p.m.about a possible drowning at the Woodland Shores area of Grand Lake.

When officers arrived, police said several people had already pulled the man from the water and were administering CPR. The victim was then taken to the hospital in critical condition

GRDA says officers are still investigating what happened.
