A man wanted on felony warrants in two counties was arrested Wednesday after authorities say a Wagoner County K-9 found him hidden in a crawl space under a bedroom in his home.

Kerry R. Lane was arrested on theft and drug complaints, according to a release from the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff Chris Elliott said WCSO and Rogers County deputies served a search warrant in the 29400 block of East 32nd Street South August 22. He said they were looking for Lane, who was wanted for knowingly concealing stolen property, grand larceny and other crimes.

Lane barricaded himself in a crawl space in the master bedroom hidden by a dresser that could be pulled against the wall from inside the hole, authorities say. K-9 Deputy Darren Watkins and Bane were on hand, and a news release states Bane alerted to the hiding space where Lane was found.

Deputies say they also found stolen property and "hundreds of copies of credit card information" taken from patrons at a hotel. The Sheriff's Department release states they won't be releasing more information about the hotel as it is part of their investigation.

They also found methamphetamine and marijuana, the release states.

In addition to the felony warrants, Lane is now also charged with multiple counts of knowingly concealing stolen property, possession of surveillance equipment while in commission of a felony, possession of burglary tools, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a CDS without a valid tax stamp, maintaining a dwelling where drugs are kept or sold, and false making or embossing of credit or debit card.

"Drug and property crimes are a big issue in Wagoner County," said Sheriff Chris Elliott.

"Having a professional agency such as the Rogers County Sheriff's Office to work with helps in apprehending individuals that commit these crimes.  Now our focus is on prosecution and returning all of the stolen property to the victims."
