TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa Firefighters say three people who were stranded under the railroad bridge North of the River West Festival Park have been safely rescued.

Firefighters say around 8:00 p.m. Saturday the group was out fishing on a sandbar when the water started rising. Crews used two lifeboats to rescue them from under the railroad bridge.

It took crews just over 20 minutes to rescue the group. Firefighters say no one was hurt or taken to the hospital.
