Ingredient Chili:

  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 28 oz diced tomato
  • 28 oz crushed tomato
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 2 green bell peppers, diced
  • 1 small jalapeño, minced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 qt beef stock
  • Salt & pepper
  • Ha-pah-shu-tse fry bread mix. Make according to instructions.
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomato
  • Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream

Directions:

  1. Brown beef in large pot. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté onions and peppers in pot until translucent. Add dry seasoning and sauté on medium heat for 2 minutes stirring constantly.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer. Let cook for 1 hour on simmer.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste at the end.
