Police arrest a suspected thief late Monday, shortly after News On 6 aired security video of a man taking a package off the porch of a Tulsa home.

According to 50-year-old Bryan Ward's arrest report, security at Tulsa's Tamarack Place Apartments realized they had seen the possible thief from a News On 6 story posted on Facebook and held onto him for police.

Officers said after reviewing the security camera video, police stated in their arrest report, Ward was an "exact match" of the man seen in that video and took him into custody.

On Monday, Emily Warren shared the video with News On 6.  It showed a man walking up to her porch, grabbing a package, then walking back to a UHaul pickup.

Police say they found the UHaul pickup at the apartment complex.  Looking in the truck's window, police saw the package which had allegedly been stolen.

The arrest report states Ward admitted the UHaul truck was his and gave them the keys.  Police returned the package its owner and booked Bryan Ward into the Tulsa County jail on a theft complaint.
