A Tulsa man has been sentenced in federal court for robbing a Burger King at gunpoint in 2017. Authorities say Tracy Allen Crawford, 32, pleaded guilty and received a sentence of 30 years in prison.
Crawford and another man stole $900 from the Burger King at 11th and Harvard on February 13, 2017, according to U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma Trent Shores.
A news release states Crawford also admitted to robbing No. 1 Kitchen, Family Dollar and Cash America Pawn between February and May of that year. Crawford was also ordered to pay more than $19,000 in restitution to the businesses.
Shores said any gun crime "means hard time."
"Federal prosecutors and law enforcement agencies are together focused on combating violent crime in Tulsa. In close partnership with the Tulsa Police Department, we will make this community safer,” said U.S. Attorney Shores.
