At Least One Person Injured In Tulsa Highway Access Road Crash

At least one person is injured in a crash on a Tulsa highway access road Thursday morning.

Police say the rollover crash happened just after 6:45 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Skelly Drive just east of Peoria.

Officers say a car was making a right hand turn from Rockford onto Skelly Drive when it struck the SUV. The impact caused the SUV to hit a guardrail, then rolled over.

Police say three people in the SUV were taken to the hospital by EMSA to be checked out.

Officers say the driver of the car will likely be cited for failure to yield.

Police reopened Skelly Drive at Peoria after removing the SUV.
