Muskogee Police Investigating Woman's Death, Suspect In Custody

An 18-year-old woman is dead and a man is in jail after a shooting at an apartment in Muskogee.

Police say they found the woman inside the apartment at around 11:00 p.m. Friday.  She was pronounced dead at the scene, officers say.

They say their investigation led them to an 18-year-old suspect, identified as Mark Thompson, whom they arrested in connection with the homicide.
