Man Hospitalized After Friday Night Shooting, Tulsa Police Investigating

A person is in the hospital after a shooting near 61st and Lewis.

At around 11:00 p.m. Friday, Tulsa police say, officers responded to the area of 6600 South Victor, where they found the victim, who had been shot at least twice.

Officers say a helicopter was used to search for the suspect.  They say the suspect was found near 6300 South Yorktown Place and was taken to the detective division to be interviewed.

They say the victim was conscious and able to talk when he was transported by EMSA.
