Former Booker T. standout Jordan Brailford is the big 12 defensive player of the week after his 3-sack performance in the win at Kansas. Offensively, OSU's best player was busy.

From the beginning in Lawrence, the Cowboys' game plan was obvious, let Justice Hill go to work. He responded with his second-best day at OSU, rushing for 189 yards in the 20-point victory.

The concern? Hill carried the ball 31 times.

"I'm concerned about him toting the rock 30 times a game. It's a lot of wear and tear on him because those guys take more direct shots than any other position. So, we'd like to keep those around 20 times a game and with where we're at this point moving forward if we have that luxury," said Mike Gundy.

The backs behind Hill are more than capable. Chuba Hubbard with 5 carries for 57 yards, one touchdown and a memorable hurdle at Kansas. And the offensive line's more physical effort against the Jayhawks is encouraging.
