Bartlesville Police say at least 19 people have reported unauthorized credit or debit card charges.

Police said most charges showed up as cash withdrawals from ATMs throughout the state, but some were purchases. The unauthorized charges appeared in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Broken Arrow, Edmond and Bartlesville.

Customers from Arvest, MidFirst, BOK and Truity were impacted, according to police.

Investigators are trying to determine if there is something in common with all the cases.

They said it’s possible a card skimmer may have been used or that the information was obtained through an open Wi-Fi network.

Police said the thefts have not been connected to any local businesses.

The case is still under investigation and anyone with unauthorized charges is asked to report those to police.
