New Upscale Lofts, Retail Coming To Cherry Street

A major new development will soon be going up along Cherry Street, near Peoria. But first, the old buildings have to come down.

The development includes two parts, 1515 Cherry Street, and the Lofts at 1515.

The $9 million investment will include retail, restaurants, and apartments.

Jeweler Bruce G. Weber will be moving from its Utica Square location to be the anchor tenant at 1515.
