Police arrest two men following two different Tulsa crashes late Monday after both ran off.
Just after 9:45 p.m., officers took 24-year-old Kevin Boston into custody following a crash in the 3300 block of East Pine.
Police say an officer arrived on the scene and found a vehicle with extensive damage, they also found Boston's pickup a few feet away, where it was high-centered on a fence.
They say Boston had run off, but another officer spotted him and took him into custody.
In their report, Boston admitted to hitting the other vehicle, but was headed to his mother's home to work everything out involving the crash.
Police say Boston later admitted to running because he didn't have insurance. Boston also said he had been drinking vodka prior to the crash.
At about 11:45 p.m., police arrested 38-year-old Monty Bell, after witnesses say he sped by a stop sign near Pine and Harvard and crashed into another car. Like Boston, Bell also ran off. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Police caught up with Bell and booked him into the Tulsa County jail on complaints including leaving the scene of an injury crash, not having a driver's license and speeding.
Kevin Boston was also booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints including DUI and leaving the scene of an injury crash.
