Truck Crashes Into Tulsa WW 2 Vet's Home

A Tulsa veteran is getting his home repaired after a pickup came crashing through his living room.

Leo Standlee, 89, says usually he would've been sitting by the door reading a book, but that night he decided to go to sleep early.

The World War II veteran finds irony in the fact that it happened 77 years to the day after Pearl Harbor.

"This is my December 7th, my personal December 7th," said Leo Standlee.

Tulsa Police say the pickup was abandoned when they got there and officers are still looking for the driver.

Standlee says the damage is going to cost him $10,000.
