Sweet and Spicy Sausage Trio

The ultimate sausage recipe for holiday parties.

Ingredients:

1 pound of Oklahoma Joe’s Smoked Sausage sliced ¼ inch
1 Pound of Oklahoma Joe’s Hot Links sliced ¼ inch
1 pound of Lil Smokies
1- Quart can of pineapple chunks save the juice
2- jars of maraschino cherries save the juice
1- Red bell pepper
1- Green bell pepper
¼ cup of maple syrup
2 tablespoons of cornstarch

Directions:

• Slice the sausage in ¼ inch slices
• Dice the bell peppers into ½ inch chunks
• Sauté the sausages until brown in a large skillet
• When the sausage is almost done browning add in the bell pepper and sauté
• Drain the cherries and pineapples making sure to reserve the juice
• Add cherries and pineapple to the skillet
• Mix the juices then blend in the cornstarch until fully dissolved
• Add the juice to the skillet
• Add the maple syrup to skillet
• Gently bring the mixture to a low roll boil
• Remove from heat and serve
