One In Custody After Shots Fired In Tulsa Home Invasion

Police say they have made an arrest after a group of men broke into two homes Thursday morning, firing shots in both. 

Officers say four men broke into a home in the 3900 block of North Hartford around 7:45 a.m.. According to police, one man came in the front door shooting his gun. Police say the men then trashed the house and stole cell phones, a T.V. and a laptop. 

TPD questioned two men Thursday afternoon and arrested one, Dakota Harjo, on complaints of armed robbery, first-degree burglary and kidnapping - all after a former felony conviction.

No one was hurt but the three women inside the home said they're angry and afraid. One of the victims said the thieves threatened them before they took off.

"They basically told us if we lie about not having anything else, they gonna come back and kill us," she said.

"I don't feel safe here at all. After today, I don't feel safe.

The victims said the robbers left in an older-model green Jeep with the hood missing and a white Ford Taurus with tribal Choctaw tags. The green Jeep was then found running with the driver's side door open near 2700 N. Peoria.

Police were then called to a home invasion in the same area where the jeep was found around 10:30. Police say the suspect shot his gun inside the house and even held the victims at gunpoint. Angelia Barrios said she woke up to a gun pointed at her head.

Reports say the suspect took cell phones, TV's, and cash. Police say the suspect waited in the house for about 30 minutes because police were nearby towing the green Jeep. 

Police say the suspect called the other men in the white Ford Taurus to help load the stolen items and get a ride.
