Catoosa Officer Hit By Vehicle After Chain Reaction Crash

A Catoosa Officer was hit by a vehicle near I-44 and the 145th East Avenue bridge.

According to witnesses, the officer was in his patrol car when he was struck after what has been described by law enforcement as a chain reaction type of crash.

The officer was reportedly coming back to check on a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. As the officer made his way to the scene a different car lost control and hit the officer's car.

The officer was able to get out of the vehicle, paramedics bandaged a gash in his head and transported him to a hospital. No other injuries have been reported.
