Police Investigate Two Shootings Thursday Night

Police say two shootings late Thursday, send two people to the hospital and in both incidents, they say the victims are not being cooperative.

The first shooting happened in a park near 21st and Garnett, but officers initially could not locate a victim. That victim, who was wounded in the arm, had someone take him to the hospital.

The second shooting, happened on the porch of a home in the 3700 block of West 42nd Place near I-244.

Officers say the victim was shot in the arm after a group went to the home following a trip to a Tulsa casino.

The victim was taken to a nearby convenience store where police and EMSA were called.

Police did confirm one person was arrested for obstruction.
