Broken Arrow Begins New Beautification Project Along Expressway

A stretch of the Broken Arrow Expressway is getting a facelift.

The City of Broken Arrow says work has begun to beautify areas along the expressway from 136th East Avenue to 81st street. Crews have started removing trees, brush and other vegetation along the highway.

The city says workers will also be cleaning out drainage ditches and mowing more often along this stretch.
