Walgreens will start offering certain CBD products in almost 1,500 of its locations.

The product will be carried at locations in Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vermont, South Carolina, Illinois, and Indiana.

Walgreens says it plans to carry items such as non-THC topical creams, patches, and sprays.

Rival drug store CVS had already started selling some CBD products at about 10 percent of its stores last month.
