Tulsa firefighters are responding to a badly damaged mobile home in the 3300 block of East Apache Monday afternoon. Osage SkyNews 6 HD flew over the mobile home park at Apache and North Harvard.
According to Andy Little with the Tulsa Fire Department, neighbors rushed to the home to check on the owner who fortunately was not home. However, neighbors did find animals belonging to the owner and attempted to get them out. One dog and two cats were rescued, one cat did not make it. Firefighters said a person has burned his hands while rescuing the dog and he was treated at the scene.
Firefighters have yet to determine the cause of the fire. The home is a total loss.
