Spirit Aerosystems Announce Layoffs In Oklahoma

Spirit Aerosystems is laying off more than 130 employees in Oklahoma.

The company notified the state today the 134 workers at its McAlester location plant will lose their jobs. They said there will also be layoffs at its Tulsa facility as well, but haven't given any details.

The company was a major parts supplier for Boeing 737 Max Airliner planes.

The layoffs will happen between next Tuesday and March 23.
