Tulsa Police are responding after a woman was mugged Tuesday morning. Police said a robber targeted a visually impaired woman in the 700 block of West 23rd Street. Police took her report at a strip mall near the location where they said the woman was victimized.
The woman told them she heard a man say "excuse me," and she told him to stay back, according to police.
Instead, he snatched her fanny pack and took off running. She believed she heard him running across the street into some nearby apartments.
Police said the woman had a service dog with her at the time of the robbery which took place near Lot-A-Burger.
Officials searched for the suspect but had not located him so far.
