Hundreds of Pittsburg County residents are without water and most of them haven't had it for more than a week.
The county's rural water district #14, which serves an area north of McAlester recently had a water line break. Workers are still repairing those break, but district customers say the water treatment plant has been a long-time problem in itself.
"It's inconvenient for me. I can't wash clothes, I can't wash dishes. I don't cook because you have to clean up afterwards, you know?" said Robert Wunsch.
Those who do have water in district #14 are under a boil order. For those who don't have water, the district hopes to have the line fixed by the end of this week.
