Swilling Cleared Of Wrongdoing By University

The University of Tulsa has cleared basketball player Pat Swilling Jr. of violating the university's Student Code of Conduct and of the sexual assault complaint filed against him.

The case against Swilling was also dismissed by the Tulsa County District Court after the woman who accused Swilling asked that the petition seeking a protective order be dismissed.

An independent and university investigation concluded Swilling did not commit the sexual assault or violate the Code of Conduct after looking at evidence and conducting 16 witness interviews. Swilling was reinstated as a student-athlete, although he is a senior and the men's basketball season has already ended.
