One thing Bartlett and Taylor can agree on is the "Improve Our Tulsa" campaign.

The political rivals came together with other former Tulsa mayors - including Susan Savage, Rodger Randle, and Bob LaFortune - to collectively endorse the $918 million package to pay for street and bridge projects and other capitol improvements.

"We're really talking about saving money," Randle said. "Because repairs delayed are repairs made more expensive, so a vote 'yes' on these proposals is a vote to use our tax money wisely and carefully and to guard our resources."

Improve Our Tulsa is both a bond and a sales tax extension.

It's on Tuesday's ballot as Propositions 2 and 3.
