Want to be in a movie? Check out the open casting call for extras in the film "August: Osage County" that will be filmed in Oklahoma.
The casting call has been moved to the Tulsa Promenade Mall at 41st and Yale, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The film, starring Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts, is scheduled to be shot in northeastern Oklahoma beginning in late September. The movie is based on a play written by Tulsa-born Tracy Letts about a dysfunctional Pawhuska family.
Casting director Chris Freihofer said they don't need toddlers or babies, but everyone else is welcome to apply. Extras will be paid to appear in the film.
"We will ask everyone to provide us with contact information and clothing sizes, and we will take everyone's pictures. The whole process should take less than 10 minutes," he said.
Freihofer added it will save time if everyone knows their clothing sizes in advance.
Extras will be used throughout the filming. Those selected will be notified a day or two before they are needed, and should expect to spend the whole day on set.
