BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- Monday's weather couldn't have been better for a bike ride or a walk. Now NSU students in Broken Arrow have the perfect place to do just that.

Northeastern State University in Broken Arrow opened the "2nd Century Trail" Monday. The paved trail makes a one-mile loop around campus and has workout stations along the way.

"Students decided that part of a healthy campus initiative is to create an area on this campus that would be dedicated to fitness. But their vision was not just to include faculty and staff but to include the community," Don Betz, NSU President, said.

The new trail connects to the Liberty Trail, meaning you can bike or walk to Tulsa Community College's Southeast campus and beyond. Trails will take you all the way through downtown Tulsa to Sand Springs.
