OHP Troopers Investigate Deadly Crash In Nowata

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers are investigating the cause of a deadly crash in Nowata County.

Troopers said the crash took place around 10:30 p.m. Thursday on US169 northbound and CR19.

The accident involved 20-year-old, David Lewis driving a 2017 Nissan Altima, with three minor passenger's in the vehicle. The second vehicle involved was a 2007 Buick Lacrosse driven by 67-year-old, Danny Allen.

Trooper said Allen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lewis was taken to St. John Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries to the hands.

The three minor passengers in Lewis's vehicle were not injured.
