EMSA's Medical Heat Alert Still In Effect

EMSA says its medical heat alert that was issued on July 1st is still in effect.

EMSA says it responded to 5 heat-related calls in Tulsa on July 6.

It issues a "medical heat alert" when medics respond to five or more heat-related calls within a 24-hour period.

Everyone is urged to stay hydrated, wear light-colored clothing, and spend short amounts of time in the sun.
